Baby Einsteins (Infants), 6 weeks – 18 months

    Our Baby Einsteins program provides a nurturing and stimulating environment designed to support the crucial developmental milestones of infancy. We prioritize individualized care, recognizing that each baby develops at their own pace. Our experienced caregivers create a safe and loving space where infants can explore, learn, and grow through age-appropriate activities, sensory experiences, and meaningful interactions. We are committed to fostering a strong foundation for future learning by focusing on language development, motor skill enhancement, social-emotional growth, and cognitive exploration, all within a framework of responsive and attentive care.

    Little Explorers (Toddlers), 18 – 24 months

    Our Little Explorers program fosters curiosity and independence in a safe and stimulating environment. We understand this dynamic age of discovery and provide opportunities for toddlers to explore their world through play-based learning experiences. Our curriculum focuses on developing language skills, refining gross and fine motor skills, encouraging social interaction, and fostering emotional development. Experienced caregivers provide nurturing support and guidance, encouraging toddlers to explore their interests and build confidence as they transition toward greater independence.     Adventurers (Preschool & Pre-K), 2 – 5 yrs (not yet in kindergarten)

    Our Trailblazers program provides a supportive and engaging environment for school-age. We offer a balance of structured activities and free time, allowing school-age children to explore their interests, develop social skills, and build independence. Our program provides homework assistance, encourages creative expression, and promotes physical activity through a variety of age-appropriate games and projects. We strive to create a safe and enriching space where children can relax, recharge, and continue learning outside of the traditional school day.     Special Needs (All age groups)

    Our Special Needs program provides a nurturing and inclusive environment designed to meet the unique needs of each child. We believe in celebrating every child’s abilities and fostering their individual growth.  Our experienced and compassionate staff work closely with families and, when appropriate, therapists, to develop INDIVIDUALIZED plans that support each child’s specific developmental goals. We offer a variety of therapeutic and educational activities tailored to address sensory, motor, communication, social, and cognitive needs, promoting independence, self-confidence, and a love of learning. We are committed to creating a supportive and accepting community where every child feels valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential. We adhere to all applicable regulations and maintain open communication with families to ensure the highest quality of care.

    LESSON PLANNING, SCHEDULES, AND INDIVIDUALIZED LEARNING

    We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and developmentally appropriate learning environment that caters to the unique needs of each child. Our program implements a flexible daily schedule and meticulously crafted lesson plans, both of which are designed to:

    • Individualize Learning: We recognize and respect the individual needs of every child, including those with disabilities and special health care needs, adhering to all applicable legal requirements. This includes the incorporation of information from Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) or Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) when provided by families.
    • Promote Holistic Development: Our curriculum comprehensively addresses all key developmental domains, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.
      • Birth through Three Years: Personal and Social Development, Language Development, Cognitive Development, and Physical Development.
      • Three through Five Years: Social and Personal Development, Language and Literacy, Mathematical Thinking, Scientific Thinking, Social Studies, The Arts, Physical Development, and Health.  
    • Incorporate Age-Appropriate Activities: Lesson plans are filled with engaging, age-appropriate activities that reflect children’s interests and skills, fostering active learning and exploration.
    • Inform Instruction with Data: We utilize ongoing assessments, observations, and information shared by families to inform our lesson planning, ensuring that activities are tailored to meet individual developmental needs.
    • Create Smooth Transitions: Transitions between activities are facilitated through engaging methods like songs, games, and visual cues, minimizing disruptions and maximizing learning time.
    • Respect Individual Rhythms: Infants and young toddlers follow individualized schedules for napping, diapering, and feeding, while older toddlers are encouraged to share mealtimes, fostering social interaction.
    • Individualized Care Routines: Care routines, such as diapering, toileting, naps, and mealtimes, are tailored to each child’s specific needs.

    Parent Communication and Collaboration

    Individualized, Domain-Based Learning: Daily Schedule and Policy

    All enrolled children will receive “INDIVIDUALIZED” (customized) learning experiences and educational programming designed to support their individual development. Our program is committed to providing individualized, domain-based learning experiences that cater to the unique developmental needs of each child. We integrate whole group, small group, individual, and literacy/reading activities throughout the day, ensuring alignment with the Maryland Early Learning Standards (MELS) and addressing all developmental domains. We also adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including thorough hygiene practices and safe transitions.
